I believe I was nominated for building and scaling businesses that connect exceptional South African talent with global markets, creating sustainable employment while delivering commercial value and demonstrating that purpose and profitability can go hand in hand.
I am a married father of two currently living in Dallas, Texas. I lead an outsourced contact center and professional services business that connects exceptional talent with organizations around the world. Our focus is on creating sustainable, high-quality employment by helping businesses address talent shortages and benefit from global labor market arbitrage. By matching skilled professionals with international opportunities, we deliver commercial value to our clients while creating meaningful careers and contributing to long-term economic growth.
My vision is to build one of the world’s leading providers of outsourced contact center and professional services, with South Africa at its heart. I want to prove that South African talent can compete with, and outperform, the best in the world, creating thousands of sustainable, high-quality jobs that allow people to build meaningful careers without leaving the country.
Personally, I aspire to continue building businesses that create lasting economic and social impact while remaining a proud ambassador for South Africa on the global stage. Although I currently live abroad, South Africa will always be home, and I am passionate about investing in its people and showcasing their exceptional skills.
For South Africa, my vision is a country recognised not only for its resilience and natural beauty, but as a global powerhouse for talent, innovation, and business services. I believe entrepreneurship, investment, and job creation are among the most powerful tools we have to unlock economic growth and create opportunities for future generations.
If there is one thing I hope inspires others from my journey, it is simply to take action. Too often, great ideas remain ideas because people wait for the perfect time, the perfect plan or the certainty that they will succeed.
Building a business has taught me that you rarely have all the answers at the beginning. You simply need to put one foot forward and start. You will make mistakes, learn, adapt and change direction along the way.
I hope our journey demonstrates that significant businesses can be built from very little if you are prepared to take that first step, remain resilient and keep moving forward.
