We are Nathan and David Sim, and we are 15 year old multi-disciplinary artists. We make and sell original artworks as well as commissioned pieces for clients all over the world. We believe we are rising stars as we are carving our own path in the art world: being rejected from traditional art spaces due to our age has urged us to forge our own path forward for the next generation of young (or in our case, very young!) artists.
We have achieved a lot at our young age, whilst also fighting a health battle no person should have to deal with. We have held four successful exhibitions and sold countless custom art pieces. This is just the beginning!
We believe that South Africa will only improve with the next generation of entrepreneurs. We do not see ourselves as ‘leaders’ but rather two kids put in a place where we could either quit, or forge ahead and create a new pathway for other young artists.
We have overcome more than most 15 year old will ever deal with. We deal with daily chronic pain, hospital visits and long operations. Where most people would wallow, we fight. Our parents call us their ‘warrior twins’ because of our fighting spirit and resilience. During all of this, we have held four successful art exhibitions and have made art for clients all around the world!
