My Name is Adam Lipschitz and I am a part time professional runner. I started the Social Runners Club and built the brand to a national movement now hosting 4 mass participation races a year reaching close to 5000 people and have over 600 runners in our club, the 3rd biggest non-corporate running club in the country. The Social Runners Club is movement that looks to give back those in need in the running community, weather it is through race entries or training kit and shoes.

I believe I was nominated for the work that I have done to promote running in South Africa and how the sport adds value to everyones life even if they are not a proffessional.

I believe South Africa has all the potential. I have travelled to 100s of countries yet there is nothing that compares this country. The opportunities that lie in this country are endless and it up to us, the new generation to unlock its full potential.

I have expanded on my Tzedakah and started adding charities to all events that we put on. I have also in my personal capacity improved my running times and now lie at the top of nearly every distance in the countr from from 10km to 42km
