I have been in the industry for 35 years, broadcasting and commentating live on major sporting events across the globe (for both TV and radio) in numerous sporting codes, such as Olympic Games, World Cups and major international events. My radio sports show, Top Sport, which I present daily on SAfm, won the prestigious Telkom Radio Award for best sports show on Public Service Radio. Since I took over the show in 2023, we’ve presented more than 550 episodes and have featured many top sports people across over 40 sporting codes. I also give special attention to development sport and women’s sport and have featured many talented school learners on the show. In all, I’ve been privileged to win 17 major broadcasting awards over my career, which makes me one of the most decorated sports commentators/broadcasters in SA.

In addition, through my company, PowerBrain, I have trained learners, staff and parents at over 60 schools in the country in memory skills, mind building, study skills, exam techniques and lifestyle skills. My courses are sought after and empower young people to believe in themselves and to develop skills and abilities they don’t always know they have. I have mentored various young people over the years and allowed them to job-shadow me.

For over 35 years, I have tutored and lectured students in Maths and Stats related subjects, and have a pass rate of over 95% every year.

I am also SA’s longest serving mentalist, currently holding three memory world records, and have used my skills in this area to stage and present mind-blowing shows around the country and internationally on cruise ships. I’ve also taught myself to speak three languages fluently and am currently learning another six.
