I am the co-founder and winemaker of ESSA Wine Co., the only kosher wine company on the continent of Africa whose goal it is to produces high-quality kosher wine for the Jewish, kosher-keeping community.

As the only producers of non-mevushal wine, we put quality over quantity at every step of the way. We have long-term contracts in place for export to the USA and have just secured export to Israel.

We have also diversified our range to include South Africa’s first-ever kosher Cape Potstill Brandy, a landmark project three years in the making. ESSA intends to change the landscape over the kosher scene over the next 10 years, and we are already making waves and earning recognition for it.

Vision: We have only just started to change the way kosher is being consumed in South Africa and we intend to add numerous products and offerings in the near-future. We intend to grow, build our own estate, and diversify our kosher offerings.
