For my Academic achievements in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the charitable work I have performed in line with my speciality and I am a nice person

I am a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Sculptor

My work as a Plastic Surgeon to restore function and cosmesis in patient’s born with a cleft lip and palate, especially being involved in the Netcare Cleft Program where I personally treated 315 patients, sometimes needing 2 to 3 operations (650 surgeries) pro bono for over 20 years.
My voluntary involement in managing children with cerebral palsy at Forest Town for nearly 30 years.

Personally to continuewith my Plastic Surgical practice for as long as I am able to and create new pieces of art.

I believe South Africa has a bright future but I would be happier to hear the term “We have done it” rather than “we need to do it” from the powers that be.
